Ah Salaam and good evening! (Well, tis actually mid day but meh!)
thought id just post something now, because I will be going away until late tomorrow night! Going up to Marybourough to be safety crew once more at the Aussie Jetboat Championships. Always good fun! :)
What really is bad about it though, is that my friend has won (through a radio station comp) 10 tickets to the Ekka, and the Triple M Concert there, and THEN they get to go backstage and Meet and Greet with the band: "The Living End" you know: "west end riot", "Roll on", "Prisoner of Society", "One said to the other". ARGH! the bitter irony of it all! :P Oh well, ill live
That same mate who won the tickets had his birthday party at Gilhooley's Irish pub in the city last night (again i was designated driver! well.. i designated myself, but still!) I must say though that for an irish pub, there was a surprising lack of Irish music (although they did play '1000 miles' :D)... and WAY too much Britney.. although the live band that was there was pretty cool (all covers though) :)
I hope all you CU'ers have fun at your ball tonight! SOmeone try to sneak in a digital camera so i can make fun of...i mean, appreciate your costumes! :)
Thats enough for now.. work made me vewy sleepy, so im gonna turn in for half an hour before i go to music, then on to marybourough! a three/four hour drive North! :) Adios amigos!
