Getting Back into It Dammit!

Ok, no more procrastination! this thing wont post itself! (Procrastinatign about procrastinating? thats a new high! ^_^)

For my own records and for those who have been wondering about those photos, here is what I've been doing since oh, a month or so ago! (probably more than that!)
And since i've realised I can't really remember in any detail I'll just do a little point form thing!

1 - May 19th - Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. We (Friends from our Church group and I) went to the midnight Premiere of the movie in the city, and as our tradition dictated we dressed up as characters from the movie. I was Darth Vader! that costume was involved let me tell you! :P anyhoo, Movie? I loved it, a great improvement on I and II, Really emotional for a sci-fi movie. I like how it wrapped up very nicely. although there was a cringeworthy moment - Darth Vader shouting 'NOOOOOO" at the end :P ah well!
Ended up getting put in the Sunday paper as a picture, and having a recorded conversation with my mate Greg about going clubbing dressed up like that! (He was dressed up as Anakin)
As a side note too, I had a percussion exam at 8am the next morning, so I went along in full Darth Vader costume ^_^. Had at least ten people at uni wanting to take their photo with me heh.

2 - June 14th - Big jump there, and many things did happen inbetween, but i cant remember them in any real detail. June 14th was the date of my first exam, and also of my 21st Birthday! ^_^ woohoo! Got a digital camera from parents, which explains where the photos down below came from! but since my Birthday came in the middle of exam week, there was no time to celebrate it! but on the Thursday night of that week we had a combined party for two of my church friends, Manoli and Dan (pictured below also) and Me. We all have our birthday in the same week :) I got the soundtrack for the Episode III ^_^ mucho cool! as well as a Darthvader electric spin pop, a cool Yoda watch and a Peter Coombe DVD :) ah...childhood memories!

3 - June 19th-24th - CLW (Christian Life Week) Numinbah!
Another reason I had no time to celebrate was this huge camp! it was about 40-50 kids and 14 leaders in the Numinbah Valley near the NSW Border. Beautiful 'hows the serenity' place. Most of the photos below come from there! Our theme was 'Walk the Talk' about being Christians in our daily lives. The camp was cool. I could go on about it for a while, but you know... I probably will later!
The photos featuring the short shorts and bondsies are from our Olympics Theme night. Greg, Josh (a great bloke and good mate who I only met last year on CLW) and I decided to come as Ping Pong Players and thus... well.. anyhoo.
For the olympics night we were based in our camp small groups and had to come up with a country name and anthem and flag etc. The country of my small group was ZOLTANIA - Ruled by the benevolent dictator, ZOLTAN! (zoltan - makes 'Z' with hands). So that kinda explains the odd pose below!

CLW was great not only for the spiritual experience given to the kids, but to me. i felt that I have grown spiritually as a result of that camp :) Especially because of an incident during a game :P which i shall talk about later *shudder*

Only bad thing that happened on camp (which i honestly think i can directly attribute to the devil... more on that later). Is that while we were away at a day trip to Hinze dam, A freakishly strong wind blew up at the camp (so im told) and caught hold of a Tarpaulin (sic) in a trailer about 6 meters away from my car. The wind was so strong that it used the Tarp as a sail, and blew this trailer (which was quite large) into the side of my car, causing 1300 dollars worth of damage.
Luckily I had insurance. But unluckily, since there was no Third Party at fault I now have to pay the $350 excess, and Lose a rating. that sucks. but oh well. I laugh at the devil. Nice try foo!

SO that brings us basically up to now when I have three glorious weeks of holidays left! I will probably write more later because long posts are so hard to read sometimes!

Lets just put this down for the record before I go - I hate having good dreams. I would rather have nightmares, because you wake up saying 'Holy krap, wow! lucky that was only a dream!" rather than waking up and feeling depressed saying "I wish that was real". Especially when it involves a female! (not in that way you sus people!) :P dreams like that suck!
